PET DEGREE Intermediate Agility Training
Are you ready for intermediate agility training? Did your pooch thoroughly enjoy our Beginner Agility course? Did he or she handle that class’s obstacles with aplomb? If so, your dog is a terrific candidate for our Intermediate Agility course, which will teach him or her new skills while refining those from the previous agility class.
More Challenging and Even More Exciting
To sign up for our Intermediate Agility course, just bring us proof of your dog’s up-to-date vaccines. If your pet took a beginning agility course somewhere other than PET DEGREE, one of our trainers can evaluate his or her skills. That way, we can be sure that your canine is ready for the next level of dog or puppy agility training.
During these lessons, we’ll review pieces of agility equipment to refresh your dog’s memory. We’ll teach your pet how to run through brief sequences of obstacles, which will enhance his or her ability to think quickly and move nimbly.

Eight Weeks of Growth
As with the beginner program, your dog will have to go over, around and through our obstacles while ignoring a series of distractions, including an array of aromas. As the course progresses, you might be surprised by how your dog’s powers of concentration improve.
The intermediate dog agility classes, like the beginner classes, meet once a week for eight weeks. Owners again receive a glossary and training manual, and people and dogs get more homework assignments as well. Also, if you take any photos of you and your pet practicing at home, we’ll add them to a special and memorable keepsake journal for you.
PET DEGREE: The Place to Be
We hold these classes at the main PET DEGREE building at 2055 Clinton Street. You’ll probably find our campus relaxing and joyful. You can mingle with other dog owners and see pups in action, which is certainly an entertaining way to spend time.
After taking these lessons, your dog will be ready for our Advanced Agility course. He or she will also be one step closer to competing in agility events should you choose to give them a try.
